Hit episode 500 in my anime watchlist last night, did not see that coming

I started tracking my series on MAL back in March and somehow blasted past the 500 mark without even noticing. Anyone else ever hit a milestone in their backlog that just kinda snuck up on them?

You know, I used to think keeping track of stuff like that was just a waste of time, but hitting a big number out of nowhere actually sounds kind of cool. I never bothered with MAL or anything, I just let my watchlist pile up on its own, and now I'm probably way past some milestone I never noticed. Maybe I should start tracking it too, just to see how deep the rabbit hole really goes.

Actually, MAL counts episodes in a series differently than most people think, so you might have hit 500 a bit before you noticed.
