I had to pick between a 12-hour One Piece filler arc or a 3-hour YouTube analysis of Neon Genesis Evangelion
My friend challenged me to watch one or the other before our anime club meeting in Portland. I chose the Eva analysis video, figuring it'd be quicker, but the host spent the first hour just talking about the opening theme's bassline. Has anyone else ever picked the 'short' option for an anime deep dive and had it backfire completely?
