Is a $200 anime figure worth it when a $35 prize figure looks just as good on a shelf? This is tearing my wallet apart.

I dropped $200 on a scale figure of my favorite character from Frieren last week, but my $35 prize figure from a crane game in Chicago sits right next to it and honestly gets more compliments from friends, so are we paying for detail or just bragging rights when both make us happy in the same way?
