My 'plan to watch' list hit 500 shows and I had to stop

I was just cleaning up my list on AniList and saw the number. It made me see I was just hoarding titles, not planning to watch them. I deleted about 300 shows I knew I'd never start. Now I only add something if I'm going to watch it next. How do you keep your own list from getting out of hand?

Used to save everything too but now I only add what I'm watching next.
