Rewatched Cowboy Bebop's Ballad of Fallen Angels and finally noticed the church stained glass changes in episode 5
I've seen Cowboy Bebop maybe 6 times over 15 years but last Tuesday I watched the church fight scene on my laptop with headphones instead of the TV speakers. Something clicked when Spike falls out that window, the stained glass colors in the wide shot shift from red to blue between 4 separate cuts, and I sat there rewinding it like 10 times. I posted a screenshot on a Discord with 3 friends who have seen the show way more than me and none of them had caught it either. Now I'm going back through every fight scene looking for background details. Has anyone else found small animation things in Bebop that took them a bunch of rewatches to spot?
