Showerthought: I was hosting a watch party for the new Chainsaw Man episode and my whole setup crashed

So last Saturday, I had like six friends over to watch the new Chainsaw Man episode on my big TV. I was using a streaming site I thought was solid, and we were about five minutes into the episode when the screen just froze. Then the whole app crashed. I mean, it was super awkward, everyone just sitting there in the dark. I had to scramble and pull it up on my laptop, which has a tiny screen, so we all huddled around that for a minute. I finally got it working on the TV again by switching to a totally different service, but we had to restart the episode. Has anyone else had a watch party totally derailed by tech issues? What's your backup plan?

My buddy's projector died right as his group hit the big fight scene.

Projectors fail all the time, phoenix_burns26. Not exactly a world ending event.
