TIL my 'to-watch' list hit 500 anime titles

I was cleaning up my MyAnimeList and the number just popped out at me. How does a backlog even get that big, and does anyone else feel guilty about it?

You mentioned feeling guilty about the size of your list. I see it more as a library of options, which takes the pressure off finishing it all. The guilt only comes if you treat it like a required checklist.

Honestly, I always saw my list as this huge pile of stuff I failed to do. But calling it a library of options is kind of a game changer. It turns it from a to-do list into just a menu of cool things I could maybe get to someday. Tbh, that really does take the pressure off.
