Vent: wrote off One Piece for 12 years because of the episode count, now I'm 400 episodes deep
Every time a friend pushed One Piece on me I pointed at the 1000+ episode number and laughed it off. Then I got stuck at home with a bad cold back in March and burned through the Arlong Park arc in two days, and that was it for me. The thing that gets me is the pacing complaint everyone throws around, because I'm at episode 400 and it hasn't bugged me yet. Did any of you hold out way longer than you should have on a long show?
