That "animation quality suddenly tanked" line hit me hard. I remember watching a show back in the day where the fight scenes looked like flipbooks someone drew during lunch break.

@casey943 tell me about it. my stick figure drawings in high school had better motion blur than some of those episodes. guess we all paid our dues watching those lunch break flipbook fights.
