Shoutout to the loaf of bread I forgot about for 3 days that turned into the best croutons
I baked a sourdough loaf 3 days ago and completely forgot it on the counter, so it got rock hard and I almost tossed it. Instead I chopped it into cubes, tossed them in olive oil and garlic, and baked them at 375 for 12 minutes, and honestly they were way better than any croutons I have ever bought at the store. Has anyone else accidentally made something great from a bake they thought was ruined?
