Found a trick for layering vocals without a real interface
Been trying to get decent vocal layers on my Tascam 4-track for months and they always came out muddy. Last week I hit on recording the second take about 20 ms later into the mix, then panning hard left and right. It widened the sound without any chorus pedal or plugin. Has anyone else tried time-shifting takes on older gear, or is there a better way to keep it clean?
