TIL the drummer in my old band kept our best take by recording over the 'bad' one on a beat up Tascam in his mom's garage in Akron
He said the pressure of a blank tape made everyone tense, so he let us think take 3 was the keeper when it was really take 11. Now I always burn a dummy track first, does anyone else do this or am I just superstitious?
