That 47-part Tumblr fic took 3 weeks to pay off and it was worth it
I started this one story last month that spent 12 posts just describing the main character's morning routine, and I almost quit twice. By part 40 the tiny detail about her chipped mug became the whole plot twist, and I screamed at my phone. Has anyone else stuck with a slow burn that long and actually got rewarded, or am I just too patient?
