That 6 week saga in r/nosleep about the lighthouse keeper almost broke me

I started reading this story back in March and by week 4 I was checking the subreddit every hour for updates. The author posted like 12 parts, each one ending on a cliffhanger that made no sense until the next piece dropped. Part 7 especially, where the keeper finds the logbook from 1952 with his own handwriting in it, gave me actual chills. Has anyone else followed a serial that took this long to pay off and felt exhausted but satisfied?

Twelve parts for one story sounds like a lot of padding, honestly.
