Bought a $40 domain name and hosting package for a blog last March... still haven't written a single post

Wait did your friend tell you about that or is this like a story you're holding onto? One of my friends bought a domain for a travel blog back in 2018, swore she was gonna post every week. She paid for three years upfront too, like $150 down the drain. She never wrote a single thing, not even a placeholder post. I still tease her about it whenever she brings up a "new" idea.

Oh I read something recently that said something like 90 percent of blogs are abandoned within a few months of starting. So your friend is in good company I guess! It's funny how easy it is to spend money on a dream and then just let it sit there.
