Found a blog detailing typewriter repairs. Figured it was too niche. Now I'm hooked.

Start by grabbing a cheap typewriter from a thrift store. Fixing stuck keys or broken ribbons shows you how they work in a hands-on way. That hands-on fix is what turns a curious click into a full hobby.

Ngl my attempt at that left me with more broken keys than fixed ones.

Oh man, I totally get starting with a cheap one! But honestly, I jumped right in with my grandma's old Royal. It was super intimidating, but having that personal connection made me way more careful. I spent weeks just cleaning it before I even tried to fix the bell.
