Found this blog about a guy who fixes old arcade machines in his garage
Honestly, I used to think finding info on fixing my old Pac-Man cabinet was impossible. I'd just search forums and get lost in dead threads from 2008. Then, like six months ago, I found 'The Basement Arcade' blog. This guy in Toledo posts these super detailed guides, like how to rebuild a monitor chassis for under $50 with parts from a specific site. He shows every step with pictures and even talks about common mistakes. Ngl, it completely changed how I work on my own stuff. I fixed a sound board issue in one afternoon using his method, after I'd been stuck on it for weeks. Has anyone else found a super niche blog like this that actually taught you a real skill?

Seriously, what was the specific site for the monitor parts? That's the kind of golden detail that saves a project. My Galaga's screen is on the fritz and every guide just says "get a cap kit" without saying where from.
