Heard someone mention a blog about junkyard dog breeds and now I can't stop reading it

I was standing in line at a 7-Eleven in Fresno last Tuesday when this older guy starts telling his buddy about a blog that documents stray dog packs living near scrap yards. It sounds weird but the writer spent 4 years visiting 12 different yards and posting photos plus tracking the dogs' routines. I found the site after asking him for the name and honestly it's got like 20 views per post but the detail is insane, he lists which dogs guard which piles and how they react to certain trucks. It made me realize there's a whole world of hyper-specific blogs that are basically field research nobody knows exists. Has anyone else stumbled onto a niche blog that felt like uncovering a secret archive, and what made you stick with it after the first post?
