Hit publish on my blog post about fixing leaky faucets and got 2 views in 3 days
Honestly, I spent like 4 hours last Saturday writing this guide with photos of me replacing a washer on my kitchen sink. I even drew arrows on the pictures showing where the water was dripping from. After 3 days, Google Analytics showed 2 views and I'm pretty sure one was me checking if it went live. Has anyone else poured their heart into a niche blog post and gotten crickets?

Tbh I used to think you just needed to hit publish and people would find your stuff naturally. That "if you build it they will come" idea is total nonsense. Your line about spending 4 hours on photos with arrows hit me hard because I did the same thing with a post about patching drywall cracks. Three months later I had 12 views and I guarantee 8 of those were me refreshing the page. It changed my whole perspective on this blogging thing.
