Shoutout to that blog about bird migration that hasn't updated since 2017

I lost a good 4 hours last night reading this old blog about tracking sparrows through rural Wisconsin, thinking I'd find some modern data for a school project. Turns out the author stopped posting after 2017 and I ended up with zero useful info for my research. Has anyone else fallen down a rabbit hole on an abandoned blog and come up empty handed?

Tbh it's just an old blog about bird migration, not that deep of a loss for a school project. You probably over-committed to the whole rabbit hole thing anyway.

nah i feel you @oliver242 but honestly any loss still stings when you put time into it. bird migration blogs can be surprisingly detailed too. hope you find something else that clicks for your project
