Spent 2 years ignoring my blog's contact page - turns out it was broken the whole time

Honestly, I only checked it because someone on Reddit said they tried to email me about a guest post. I clicked the link and got a 404 error for the form. Turns out my plugin update from 2022 broke the whole thing and I never noticed. Over 30 people probably tried to reach out and just gave up. Now I check every page on the blog at least once a month. Has anyone else found a dumb technical issue on their site that was hiding in plain sight?

30 people who might have emailed you is not a huge number in two years. I ran a site for 5 years with a broken RSS feed and nobody ever said anything about it. Most people don't click contact pages unless they really want something, and even then half of them just leave without trying. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Your content is what matters, not a form that maybe 15 people actually clicked.

Hmm, 30 people emailing you seems like a decent signal that something might actually be worth fixing though.
