Stumbled on a blog about old diner menus from the 1950s

Guy runs it out of his basement in Cleveland and has scanned over 1,200 menus showing prices like a 25 cent cup of coffee, has anyone else found a niche blog that actually makes you stop and scroll for an hour?

Is it just me or does this kind of stuff hit harder than you'd expect? It makes you realize how much of what we buy now is all about branding and fancy packaging, while back then it was just plain old food in a box. You scroll through those old menus and grocery ads and suddenly you're thinking about how a cup of coffee used to be a quarter and now it's like five bucks at some places. It's like a little time capsule that makes you question why we pay so much for stuff that's basically the same. And the weird part is, once you start looking at one of these niche blogs, you end up clicking through links to other ones about old toys or vintage cars and boom, an hour is gone.

Found one a few years back about vintage grocery store ads from the 70s and 80s. The guy scans the actual flyers and circles the weirdest combos like weird jello salads or canned meat displays. Spent a solid hour looking at a 1979 Thanksgiving ad where a turkey cost $4.99 and a can of cranberry sauce was 29 cents. It makes you wonder why we don't have more of that stuff online instead of just recipe blogs. Kind of addictive honestly, especially the old school product packaging.
