That tiny blog about historical bread recipes went from 2 readers to 200 overnight
I found this small blog last month in the blogs no one reads thread, just a person in Seattle baking 1800s sailor bread from old logbooks. Last Sunday they posted a recipe for hardtack with a photo of their oven tray and somehow it got shared on a food sub. Now they have comments from bakers in three countries. Has anyone else watched a niche blog suddenly blow up for no clear reason, and did the author keep the same vibe?

Man, that's wild! I had a buddy's fishing blog go from like 10 readers to 400 overnight after some random YouTuber linked it, and he kept the same low key vibe, just got more comments from people asking about bait.
