The fish blog I found in 2019 had 3 readers, now it has a comment section I actually read
I stumbled on this tiny blog called something like Nate's Creek Log back in 2019 and the guy was posting maybe once a week about fly fishing in western PA. He had no ads, no email list, just a plain white page with a couple photos and like 3 comments per post from the same two retired guys. I checked back last week and he's got 40 or 50 regulars now arguing about tippet sizes in the comments and someone even mailed him a hand tied fly from Oregon. The weird part is nothing about the site changed, same layout, same boring header, he just kept posting every week for 6 years straight. I asked him in a comment what happened and he said 'I stopped checking the numbers and just wrote about what I fished that day.' Anyone else got a blog they follow where the only thing that changed was the writer showing up every week?
