Update: I finally realized why my bookmarks folder of tiny blogs is useless
I've been hoarding links to small personal blogs for like 2 years and my folder hit 340 saved sites last Tuesday, but when I actually opened it I couldn't remember why I saved half of them. The tipping point was trying to find a blog about fixing old radios that I swear I bookmarked in October, and I spent 40 minutes scrolling instead of just reading anything. Turns out I was treating bookmarking like reading, which is a totally different thing. Now I keep a plain text file with one line about what each blog is actually about, and it takes 10 seconds per link. Does anyone else have a system that doesn't turn into a digital junk drawer?
