Vent: My blog about abandoned malls in Ohio got flagged for spam last week

I was just posting a photo of the Rolling Acres rotunda when the whole site went down. Took three emails to the host to get it back up, and I lost a bunch of comments. Anyone else have their niche blog get hit by a false positive like that?

My blog about weird roadside attractions got flagged as spam back in 2019. The post that did it was just me talking about a giant fiberglass muffler man in Pennsylvania. The auto mod decided it was a commercial for muffler repair. Took me a full week to convince a real person that no, I was not secretly running a muffler shop.

Honestly maybe the algorithm was right to flag it. Most "abandoned mall" blogs I've seen are just thinly veiled affiliate links to cheap Amazon decor lmao.
