I got my book club to start every meet by spoiling the book's end!

This crazy move turns polite chats into wild, fun arguments everyone enjoys!

My buddy Mark's reading group up in Portland did the spoiler thing once. They ended up arguing for an hour about whether the main guy should have taken the job or not. Honestly, it sounded way better than their usual polite chats.

Wait, they argued for a full hour about whether some guy in a book should take a job? That's crazy. My book club would never last that long on one topic. It must have been a really big deal in the story, but still, an hour is a long time to care about a made-up choice. I guess it beats polite chatting, but man, that sounds intense.

Portland book clubs sound like they take fiction way too seriously. I'd last about five minutes before asking if anyone wanted to order pizza instead. Arguing over a fake job is the kind of passion I save for real stuff, like debating the best chip flavor. They must have really strong feelings about that guy's career path, lmao.
