Our book club's debate on audiobooks got heated, then I tried one in Portland
My book club has argued for months about whether audiobooks count as reading. Last week I flew to Portland for work and forgot my paperback, so I grabbed Libby on my phone and listened to 14 hours over 3 days. Honestly, the narrator changed how I heard the characters, and the plot stuck just as well as when I read it. I brought it up at our next meetup and the debate reset, which felt like a small win. Have any of you tracked whether your comprehension differs between audio and print?
