Bought a $6 bar of soap from a shop in Savannah just for the box, and the soap turned out to be the best part
The box was this little letterpress number with gold foil and a drawing of a magnolia on it, so I paid $6 at a shop on Broughton Street last month fully planning to toss the soap in a drawer. Turns out it's a bar of plain olive oil soap with no scent, and it cleared up the dry patches on my hands in about a week, which nothing else I've tried has done. Now I'm stuck buying $6 soap forever because the cheap stuff at the grocery store feels like sandpaper to me. The box is still on my shelf holding paper clips, so I guess I got my money's worth twice. Anyone else buy something just for the packaging and end up actually using the thing inside?
