PSA: that 'limited edition' box is usually just cardboard with foil on it, check the seams before you pay
I collect cereal boxes, and last month at a flea market in Reno this guy wanted $45 for a '90s promo box that turned out to be a resealed reprint, you could see the glue lines where the foil flap had been peeled and stuck back on. The real ones from that run have a matte finish on the side panel and a tiny printer code near the bottom flap, this thing had neither. I know because I compared it side by side with one I got from a guy in Sacramento who kept his in a closet since 1994. If the corners look too crisp and the colors pop way harder than the rest of your shelf, walk away or at least make them flip it over first. Anyone else got a tell they check before dropping cash on a box?
