TIL I was storing my box collection wrong for 2 years, a guy at a flea market in Reno tipped me off
I had all my cool boxes stacked flat in a plastic tub under my bed because I figured keeping them out of light was the smart move. Then last month at the flea market in Reno this older guy watched me pull one out and said flat storage crushes the corners over time, you gotta stand them up like books. Sure enough I checked my stash and 11 boxes had soft bent corners I never even noticed, so now they all sit upright on a shelf in the closet. Anybody else learn the hard way that how you store them matters as much as the box itself?
