I called fake on a 2 star plumber review in Tulsa until I saw the same guy's invoice on my own counter
Left a bad review for a Tulsa plumber in 2019 over a $340 charge, then dug up three older reviews with the same complaint and realized I was the fourth person he'd pulled the same line on, so now I check review dates before I book anybody.

Man, the dates are only half the trick though. Same guy can have old bad reviews and fresh good ones, and the good ones are usually from people who haven't hit the part where he tacks on the extra charge yet. You gotta read the ones that are like six months old, after the job's had time to fall apart.
