Left a 1-star review for a plumber in Denver and he showed up at my house the next day
Honestly I need to warn people about this. I posted a bad review on Google and Yelp about a plumber in Denver who charged me $480 for a 20 minute job and left a leak under my sink. Two days later he pulled into my driveway and knocked on my door asking me to take it down. I had used my full name on the review and he found my address through my phone number. I called the police but they said no crime was committed since he just talked to me. I ended up deleting the review because I felt unsafe and now I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had a business show up at your place after a bad review? How do you post negative reviews without giving away where you live?
That reminds me of my old roommate who left a bad review for a pizza place and the owner called her crying, like full on sobbing on the phone asking her to change it. Different vibe but same energy of these people not knowing how to act normal. I'd say make a burner account with no real name if you wanna warn people, not worth the stress of someone rolling up to your house.
