The week 3 one star reviews hit my brothers food truck in Boise and we found out why
My brother runs a taco truck on 8th street and a couple weeks back he got 3 one star reviews in 2 days, all saying the same thing about cold food and slow service. Turns out his only hot plate died on a Friday and he was holding food under a heat lamp that barely worked, so every order sat there getting cold while he ran around. We sat down and read every review out loud, even the mean ones, and I wrote down every word customers used like "cold" and "rude" and "45 minutes." Fixed the plate that Sunday and replied to each review by name, and one guy actually came back and changed his to 4 stars. Do you reply to bad reviews or just let them sit there?
