Vent: Google review glitch ate my 5-star rating for a local bakery
I left a solid review for a bakery in Austin after they fixed my birthday cake order last month. The site kept saying 'review submitted' but it never showed up, even after two tries on my phone. I called their counter and the owner said five other customers hit the same bug in one week. Has anyone else had reviews vanish like that, and did you find a workaround?

Same thing happened to me with a taqueria on South First, I wrote a whole paragraph about their al pastor and it just poofed into thin air. I hit submit like four times and each time it said thanks for your review, but my profile only showed one from like 2022. What finally worked for me was logging in on my laptop browser instead of the app, then it posted on the first try and stayed up. My guess is the app has some kind of sync bug where it thinks you already reviewed the place. Try a desktop browser and see if that does it.
