Compared booking a hotel through a random third-party site vs. calling the front desk direct last weekend in Nashville and the difference was wild.

Has anyone else had better luck just talking to a human instead of trusting what the algorithm shows you?

Ngl that's a lot of effort for a hotel room.

Honestly I spent way more effort than that on a hotel room once just to watch TV I could've watched at home. My wife still brings it up anytime we pass a Holiday Inn. Guess I set the bar pretty low for myself.
