Yeah, "premium" in this case just meant they added some flashy graphics and a 15 minute intro about why you should buy their other course. The actual tutorial skipped over all the beginner steps and assumed you already knew how to use the software, so it was basically useless unless you already knew what you were doing. The free one had someone who actually explained each click and why they were doing it, which is way more helpful when you're stuck.

Wait, you actually think the free stuff is better sometimes? I used to be one of those people who figured if it cost money it had to be more thorough, but you're making a good point. The premium tutorials always feel like they're rushing through the basics so they can show off and sell you something else. I've wasted too much time on flashy courses that skip over the "why" and just show you the "how" like you're supposed to just get it. Definitely rethinking my whole approach to buying guides and tutorials now, honestly.
