Found a way to beat YouTube's 'recommended for you' algorithm by baiting it with one weird trick

I got sick of seeing the same five drama channels in my feed no matter what I watched. So I searched for 30 minutes of straight ASMR whale sounds and let it autoplay while I slept. Next day, my recommendations were all nature documentaries and ambient noise. It worked way too well. Has anyone else managed to trick their algorithm into resetting like this?

82% of my feed used to be car restoration channels after I watched one video about fixing a rusted Ford Pinto... I tried your whale sound trick but with 8 hours of Tibetan singing bowls instead. It actually worked but now my algorithm thinks I'm a monk who also loves deep house remixes of Gregorian chants. The weirdest part is now I keep getting recommended videos about how to build a log cabin in the woods, which I definitely never searched for.
