Spotify made me a playlist called "Focus Jazz" and every single song was smooth sax covers of 90s nu-metal
Last Tuesday I put on what I thought was a soft jazz mix for doing invoices at my desk, and 30 seconds in I realized it was a saxophone version of a Slipknot song. I sat there for a full hour thinking my taste in music had quietly changed before I checked the track list. Does anyone know why these apps think jazz fans and metal fans are the same person?
