Spotify recommended me a playlist called 'Sleep Sounds' but it was just 47 minutes of someone eating chips
I was trying to fall asleep on a red-eye from Denver last week and the crackling and crunching had me wide awake and actually craving tortilla chips, has anyone else gotten totally off-target recommendations like this from a music app?

Wait, isn't eating chips technically a sleep sound for some people though? Crunching can be super relaxing if you're into ASMR, honestly. Guess Spotify's algorithm just thought you wanted snack vibes instead of ocean waves lol.

That playlist honestly sounds like some kind of prank someone pulled. Last month my Apple Music thought I would love a curated mix called "Focus Flow" and it was literally just recorded keyboard typing for an hour straight. Not relaxing at all, just reminded me of being back in an open office. The weird thing is I actually do like some ASMR stuff like rain or a fan humming but eating noises are a whole different beast. I once fell asleep with my earbuds in and woke up to someone whispering about their grocery list, felt like I was being haunted by a very bored ghost. Maybe the algorithms are just trolling us at this point.
