Swore the store's self-checkout cameras were junk until the receipt from last Tuesday proved me wrong
I figured those little screens watching me scan were just there to make people nervous, but the machine flagged a $3 avocado I forgot to ring and a worker walked over with the exact item pulled up. Now I'm torn: is that a nice catch or a little creepy? If a robot camera knows my avocado better than I do, where does this stuff stop?
