Unpopular opinion: The algorithm knew I needed that random chair video

I kept getting suggested some guy restoring a beat up 1960s Eero Saarinen chair from a thrift store. Thought it was just clutter in my feed. Three weeks later I find the exact same model at a flea market in Des Moines for $40. Watched that video twice before I walked in, fixed it up in one afternoon. Anyone else have an algorithm recommendation that actually saved you money?

Dude, my buddy Tom had the exact same thing happen. He was convinced his old phone battery was dying, kept seeing the same notification at 15% every time. Tried a new battery, new charger, nothing changed. Then he actually looked at the settings and realized he had a custom battery saver profile set to kick in at that exact percentage. Took him two weeks to figure out something that was right there in the menu the whole time. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the one you miss.
