YouTube recommended me a 45 minute video on how to fold a fitted sheet

I swear I just looked up "how to fold a fitted sheet" one time and now my recommended feed is flooded with cleaning tutorials like some kind of bed linen conspiracy. The video had 12 steps and the guy still ended up with a crumpled mess at the end, which is basically what my sheets look like after I try. Has anyone else had their algorithm get stuck on one random category for weeks?

12 steps and still a mess, that sounds about right. I used to think fitted sheets were just one of those things you gave up on and shoved in the closet. But then I tried a different method where you tuck the corners into each other while the sheet is still partly on the bed, and it actually worked. Probably took me 4 or 5 tries before I got it smooth, but now my linen closet looks way less like a laundry crime scene. Your mileage may vary though, I still get a wrinkle here and there.

Corners into each other? That sounds like the sheet equivalent of a magic trick. I tried that once and ended up wrestling with it for twenty minutes before giving up and shoving it in the drawer sideways. Guess I'm just not ready for that level of commitment. The real question is, does the method survive a toddler ripping the whole pile out anyway? Because that's the true test in this house. At this point I just fold mine into a loose rectangle and call it "rustic".
