Dropped $85 on a timing light kit for my 66 Mustang that I used twice
Back in the 90s I timed my 289 by ear for years and never had a problem, so when a guy at the swap meet in Puyallup sold me an $85 dial-back light I figured I was upgrading. Turns out the fancy dial was off by 4 degrees compared to my old ears and my car ran worse for a week until I figured it out. Anyone else go back to the simple stuff after dropping cash on a tool that just made things worse?
