My 72 C10's brake line blew while I was pulling into my own driveway last Sunday
Pedal went straight to the floor and I smelled brake fluid before I even shut it off. Turns out the line rubbed through where it was clipped to the frame rail, anyone else had this happen with aftermarket pre-bent lines?

That line rubbed through where it was clipped to the frame rail" is the exact kind of thing that makes me question why we trust aftermarket parts so much. I've seen the same pattern with fuel lines and wiring harnesses, stuff that's supposedly pre-bent and ready to go but ends up sitting against something metal because the clips don't line up right. You'd think after 50 years they'd have the routing down, but nah, they just stamp it out and call it good. My buddy's 78 Ford had a pre-bent brake line that wore through in under a year because the metal tab they used to hold it was too tight and vibrated against the frame.
