Pulled the radiator to rod it out or just flush it, and I picked wrong on my 64 Galaxie
I went with the $60 flush kit on my 390 in the driveway in Dayton instead of pulling the radiator to get it rodded, and it ran hot again 3 weeks later. The lower tank was packed with rust scale the whole time. Did anyone here try the flush first and wish they had just yanked the radiator from the start?

Flush kits just move the scale around, pull the radiator next time.
