That 30 dollar coil pack taught me a lesson about cheap parts

Last month my 66 Mustang started stuttering and dying on the freeway near Tulsa, turned out the new coil pack I'd put in three weeks prior was already junk. Has anyone else had a cheap ignition part fail that fast, or did I just get the one bad apple in the box?

Ever tried a Motorcraft coil? Mine's been solid for years now.
