The old timer at the Springfield swap meet told me to quit using my impact wrench on lug nuts, and he was right
He said it stretches the studs and I laughed it off, but then I snapped one on my 65 Mustang two weeks later and spent $40 on a tap and die set to fix it. Now the breaker bar comes out first every time, has anyone else wrecked a stud before they learned this the hard way?
