The rust spot on my 72 Beetle's rear fender is finally gone after 6 weekends
I started cutting out the rot back in April and finally sprayed primer on it last Saturday. The before and after is night and day, mostly because I quit rushing the sanding between coats and let the filler sit a full 24 hours at 70 degrees in my garage in Lansing. Turns out the old "just get it done" method was what kept blowing out my seams the first two tries. What's your go-to temp and cure time when you're doing patch work in a cold shop?
