Appreciation post: tracking down a single panel reference from a 90s X-Men comic

It took me three evenings to find the exact issue, Uncanny X-Men #281, because I only remembered a character's specific hand gesture. Anyone have a better system than just scrolling through digital archives?

Saw a piece about how the gesture itself isn't the real issue, it's the intent behind it. The league has to make a call on what crosses the line from celebration to something more. Makes you wonder where they draw that line for other players. Feels like the punishment never fits the crime with this stuff.
